With summer coming to a close, just a few weeks until school starts, I look back to see what has gone by. I breathe, I look and I am amazed at how fast time goes by. I feel like summer had just begun and now I am looking at the start of school, the beginning of the gymnastics competitive season (compulsory only) and the realization of time limits that are approaching. My floor routine, my beam routine, my new skills on bars and vault….it has been a whirlwind of a summer, mixed with some personal heartaches and the bumps in life that occur throughout time. I hope you all had a great summer and wish you all luck in the up coming school year. I look forward to sharing my journey through my first year back in a classroom, my quest for a college scholarship, my emotions and excitement of competition and the overall craziness of life. Until next time, have a great end of summer, enjoy the freedom of each day, and create great memories throughout each moment of life.

Well summer is in full swing and training is non-stop. We start at 9 am and go to 1 pm Monday – Friday. From there I switch to work mode
and become a camp counsler from 1 – 5 pm. Its fun I get to play with the kids and teach some gymnastics and a lot of other things.
I got a great rip today working on my new skills on bars, it will be a stinger tomorrow. My days are going to be really busy this summer as I train,
work and continue my studies so that I can head to my senior year in school. It should be a big change from homeschooling
which is what I have been doing for the past 5 years. Well off to relax and watch some TV before heading off to bed. Have a great night.

It’s almost summertime, and I finally got a chance to come back and visit all my friends at 11Alive. And what’s summertime without my dad and Backyard Weather?
Dad brought me to this year’s first BW, which is right here at 11Alive.

There’s Dad with the guys who are working the grill. They have chicken, pork, and ribs, and I even got to eat some… though I had to wait my turn, just like everyone else.

This is some of the stuff they put on the barbecue.

Everyone at the station walked in on Dad’s weather report just to get their share. I got mine pretty close to the start, and it was awesome.
Steven, who’s normally working with Valerie, took some video of me hanging out, and as soon as I learn how to use the system Dad uses to put up his video, I’ll post it here on my blog.
See you soon!
